| The IPIX Caddy system was designed to provide a stable, durable and low cost portable platform for the IPIX so that the IPIX could be adapted to a variety of applications. |
The screen tilts and the keyboard height adjusts to accomodate different user heights and work styles.
The rear wheels engage the floor when the IPIX Caddy is tilted for moving. Rolling and setting up the IPIX is simple with the convenient handle and the easy to reach coiled cord.
The IPIX Series 700 can be mounted and maneuvered in the tightest of spaces. Yet it sacrifices nothing in terms of performance. The hard disk drive on the Series 700 is 40GB minimum. And you get 256MB DRAM standard. |
You need equipment that you can count on. And you need information – now. Datalux designed the Tracer just for you. The Tracer is the most compact integrated computer and LCD display developed and built specifically for vehicle mounted public safety applications and thousands are deployed by police departments, sheriff’s offices and fire departments all over the country. |
 |
Police, Fire and EMS vehicles all have one common challenge. They all present difficult environments in which to install and maintain computer equipment. But the Tracer meets that challenge with a daylight readable touch screen all-in-one computer system with up-to-date technology.
The Datalux Tracer features an Intel Pentium M mobile processor and a 12.1 inch, high resolution touch screen viewable in bright sunlight and dimmable for night-time use. Because the Tracer was designed for public safety, complete mounting solutions are available for all makes and models of police, fire and EMS vehicles. |
The Tracer supports all wireless connectivity options and can also be equipped with built-in 802.11b/g wireless communications. A PCMCIA/CardBus slot is conveniently located on the top of the Tracer for cellular wireless cards, providing easy installation and positioning the internal antenna near the windshield and above the dashboard.
The Tracer mounts feature a backlit 82-key keyboard with a unique custom mounting system. The keyboard can be removed and mounted in the steering wheel so that the user can avoid twisting and turning to reach the keyboard when typing reports. The Tracer can be easily moved out of the way in order to allow access to dash controls. |
